Anthony McCabe's Glass Garden Exhibition

A display of 'Flowers from the Glass Garden'
by local Glass Artist/Designer Anthony McCabe.
We are pleased to invite Anthony McCabe to show his glass work at Gallery@12. Anthony displayed his installation glass piece at the World famous RHS Chelsea flower show this year, and amidst the visitors to the Garden show in Chelsea was Andy McConnell, the glass expert from the BBC series the 'Antiques Road show'. Andy dropped in to support the group of glass artists displaying various types of glass during this year of 2022 which has been designated the ëInternational Year of Glassí. Andy was complementary about the 'Flowers from a Glass Garden' and its concept.
This is an opportunity to decide for yourself as Anthony will recreate his part of the Glass Garden that was originally shown at Chelsea, and hopes the event will bring a blossoming of colour to the Gallery and help support the Arts in a period when Just as nature gives us the last splash of brilliant colour in our gardens or in the landscape around us Artists are normally looking ahead for a final burst of creative inspiration for the festive period. Anthonyís work is centred on abstract studio blown glass pieces in a triptych inspired by the forms and colours of flowers. The work sits in a large bespoke plinth shielding and giving safety to the fragile plants in their Greenhouse.
