Originally from Suffolk, after graduating from Keele University, I taught for 34 years in Cheshire and Staffordshire. I am a self-taught reduction and multi-block print maker, specialising in wildlife subjects. I aim to capture movement and personality . . . the inner life of the subjects I choose. Hence, I often focus in on close images of head and rely on the eye, the look, the stare to bring the animal/ bird to life in my final print.
