Dee Ball
For this exhibition I wanted to show the many ways I explore the things I love about needlework. The one aspect I love above all else is texture, be it frayed fabric, beads, thread or stitching they all appeal and inform my work. Then there is colour, who can resist? Certainlynot me! Not to mention all the building blocks, fabric - cotton, linen, silk etc etc and beautiful thread and yarns and I'm nearly forgetting beads, sequins and adornments! So much to explore and love with a ready needle and thread. Please enjoy!
